Ankara Etlik City Hospital was initiated within the framework of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreement between the Turkish Ministry of Health and Türkerler-Astaldi Partnership.

Ankara Etlik City Hospital is considered to be among the largest hospitals in the World with a 3,624-bed occupancy, 1.1million m² surface and 1.1 billion Euro investment value. In this hospital, there are six different specialty hospitals connected to each other through a main core building. These hospitals include obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics and neurosurgery and a general hospital.
